the Fine Line Between Good Medicine and 'Dangerous Drugs'
While both host and guest shared the belief that the Oregon proposal was no more than a thinly disguised attempt to legalize marijuana, O'Reilly asked whether cannabis itself might not be a legitimate medicine if prescribed by a legitimate physician to a patient with a legitimate need: "But there is a legitimate issue here, Doctor. We had Montel Williams [another popular TV talk show host] on a few weeks back. He has MS [multiple sclerosis]. And I believe Montel Williams when he says, 'Look, medical marijuana helps me, helps me cope with this disease, cope with my suffering. There's no reason why I should be denied it.' And I agree with Montel Williams that if this is the case, if a doctor -- a doctor -- says that he needs it for his MS, he should have it. You don't disagree with that, do you?" Barthwell's response was uncompromising: "Well, I do, actually. There is nothing that tells us from the science now that smoked, crude botanical should be a medication. We have a process that has been in place for 100 years in this country that protects the sick and dying from snake oil salesmen. And just because something makes you feel better doesn't make it medicine."

Marijuana Heart Risk Unlikely to be Significant, Says Expert 3/17/00
I'm pretty sure the DEAth Czar and his troop of worriers,
spin a big wheel with bogeymen on it.
Demon of the month, what will it be?
Step right up, round and round it goes
where it stops no one knows...
Ganja smoke leads to sometimes entertaining
and quite possibly provocative thinking,
Even provoking the tiniest thought, of any kind.
sends the wrong message to the herd kids.
They seem to be repeating themselves.
Running out of fear tactics.
It must be hard producing a Ganjawar,
with no actual Ganja victims.
10 million American Ganjawar victims.
Inhaling doesn't matter.
Ganja leads to Rabies and/or Atheism?
Stoners arm linked to biting drug dog?
Snitch witness linked to harsher sentence.
Dyptheria and Locusts might be linked
to heavy Ganja use the same as white lampshades.
It doesn't really matter if it is linked to anything,
it only matters that the 6 o'clock news says it is.
So if you're about to keel over
all red and sweaty, chestpains, heavy breathing...
by all means don't smoke a doobie.
Or climb a flight of stairs.
Or have someone sneak up and say boo!
Actually you might try calling 911.
On the other hand...
if you have low bp maybe it will save you.
Open small capillaries in the brain stopping a stroke,
or full blown Asthma attack.
I've seen it reverse dementia symptoms like a broom to cobwebs.
Provide a good nights sleep not zombied out with pills.
We should just make a law against lying to Congress,
and convict all the past and present drug czars,
and Ganjawar traffickers with Domestic war crimes.
Then march the cops and politicians through the Ganjawar prisons.
To hear from those non violent pot criminals,
beaten and raped as deterrents to others
thinking about messing with current drug policies.
Wonder if this will lead to future heart problems?
Who ya gonna believe, Czar Waldo or your own lying eyes?
Cannabis can't be a medicine just because it has been used successfully as a medicine for thousands of years. No victims outside of U.S. and U.S. puppet states imaginations. You can erase History from the U.S. school books if you are the Education Secretary/Drug Czar, as Bill Bennett was while he was writing books on virtue and losing $8 million in slot machines. Every election the Reefer Madness comes out of the woodworks. No coincidence. It's hard to see the truth when your paycheck depends on you not seeing it. Too bad you will loose so much more from lying to keep sick and healthy American citizens oppressed. There is no possible defense for lying to the people. Whatever the original intention. Spreading gossip when so many countries are doing research and finding the same safe flowertop as previous studies. Politicops seem to have a cannabis IQ of about 3 years old and I urge them to step away from the adult table with their monster under the bed "theory".
may be associated?

Their hobgoblins are always theory's about the future,
for many years I've been waiting for their future to get here.
Must be getting harder to keep the Ganjawar house of cards
standing without the fascist safety net of censorship.
Not that they haven't tried. DdC

What's life like in our prisons for those 77,000 marijuana convicts? Let's steel our nerves and go visit the Web site, www.spr.org where the Los Angeles outfit "Stop Prisoner Rape" has posted the little plain-talking handbill it has prepared for young men entering our prison system, titled "For Prisoners: Advice on Avoiding HIV/AIDS."
The group's handout -- targeted primarily at heterosexual men who have no desire to ever be involved in homosexual activity -- advises:
"HIV/AIDS transmission during a sexual assault is a serious concern. The following are practical tips for reducing your risk. ...

The Politics of Pot
And here we come to the vital distinction between the advocacy of temperance and the advocacy of prohibition. Temperance and self-control are convertible terms. Prohibition, or that which it implies, is the direct negation of the term self-control. In order to save the small percentage of men who are too weak to resist their animal desires, it aims to put chains on every man, the weak and the strong alike. And if this is proper in one respect, why not in all respects? Yet, what would one think of a proposition to keep all men locked up because a certain number have a propensity to steal?

Marinol, the synthetic THC marketed in the States, "In a recent study, the scientists gave patients 20 mg of Marinol by mouth to see if it increased their appetite. Not only could they not detect much appetite-increasing effect, but they learned the interesting fact that, in one-third of people who take Marinol by mouth, you have no blood levels at all. The drug is so poorly bio-available it's surprising that it got onto the market. There may well be some reason to believe that there are individuals in our government who are interested in getting Marinol on the market to diminish the pressure for marijuana smokers."

Call for Biowar on Drugs
Source: New Scientist May 06, 2006 UK
Congressman Mark Souder has been busy in his personal war on drugs. As well as fighting against the legalisation of cannabis for medical use, the Indiana Republican has slipped a provision into a bill calling for the fungus Fusarium oxysporum to be used as a biological control agent against drug crops in foreign countries. The CIA, however, has had moral doubts about using the fungus. In 2000, a CIA official told The New York Times that it was unsafe both for humans and for the environment: "I don't support using a product on a bunch of Colombian peasants that you wouldn't use against a bunch of rednecks growing marijuana in Kentucky.
High on Hemp
Least we not forget the expert demonizers...
The Ganjawar is a product. It eliminates competition. Ganja and Hemp are way too versatile for synthetic products to keep up. Hemp ditchweed makes up to 98% of the Cannabis eradications. Big numbers, lies and a near monopoly reefer mad media keeps the Ganjawar going. Keeping more durable blue jeans from kids.

No money in prevention or cures, except selling thousand dollar retreats maybe. Polio was probably the last thing cured, steel and leather industries lost a lot of leg brace business. Hempseed nutrition might send the wrong message to the starving babies. Or the fast food industries.
