Mr. Reality and Mr. Clichee.

Ever wondered how the Kyoto monster looked like?

If Shias and Sunnis always were as united as today...

Smell the Axle of Evil, Uncle Sam!

Miss Liberty is not happy with No. 43

A street parade without a Hitler item and somthing would be missing!

A secret Pentagon flight brought in Richard Perle... of course incognito as always.

Still, if you were here for longer you would also see the downside of it.

It's a small world, I was living in Golden 8mi north of Colembine My nephew would have been in the lunch room had he not planned to go out to lunch that day. He was in the hall when the first shots were fired.

One bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch. I am proud of my Germany ancestory and cousins and look forward to one day visiting hopefully for a good long stay.

Me too, Jack.

I've traced my unbroken male lineage chain back to 17th century Bavaria and can't wait to visit also, hopefully with my son and daughter. 'Palm' is the surname.

... no mystery here why I'm particularly fond of a good ale.

your brother,

Stokes

Jack, the issue is in which bunch you do find that apple... some of my countrymen live entirely within the mother tongue, others access the Anglosphere. Sebastian Bosse belonged to the latter category.

Humans tend to react very differently when they learn to see their world from the outside.

Namaste Nacht and all

O you said a mouthful! The best thing I learned from the Urantia Book, besides loving and knowing GOD, is that when we veiw our mortal existance from an Eternal perspective, all the paradoxes, all the ideas that make us stumble and lose our way, disappear as if they never were. And that we all will one day have that Eternal perspective in the fullness of time, and because of that we can easily forgive those who have not yet seen. "No Good thing is ever wholly lost; no bad thing can exist in Eternity". This knowledge keeps me sane in an insane world. Very Happy

Yah Bud! I can trace my linage back to Johann Wolfgang Goethe my great-great-great-great-great-grand uncle. Goethe goes back beyond that in to prehistory. I wonder if Palm means the inside of the hand, like my friend Fister whos German medievil coat of arms is a fist or if Palm is what was laid a Jesus path on Palm Sunday. Your family name may be truly ancient. Cool

I hope so, Jack.

Still, they do have those antennas in the neighborhood:

Quote:
US ARMY INTELLIGENCE AND SECURITY COMMAND (INSCOM) EUROPE has completed its move from Augsburg, Germany, to Griesheim, a suburb of Darmstadt. Some $18 million was spent on renovation for the Griesheim complex, which contains buildings dating from the 1930's. Some 50 functional intelligence areas had to be phased in at Griesheim while being simultaneously phased out at Augsburg, without loss of effectiveness. The move was complex, but successful. (Intelligence, N.95, 22 Mar99, p.18, ed. Olivier Schmidt) (RoyJ)
