Read this article on Shamanism;

http://www.allaboutspirituality.org/shamanism.htm

Quote:
In a sense, shamanism is a religion of itself. However it is an ungodly (even anti-Godly) religion. As in the Garden of Eden, since Creation there has been the spiritual battle between dark and light, good and evil. The Bible tells us we cannot serve two masters. If we are not serving God, we are serving Satan.

Wow....I guess God doesn't want his followers to ever become enlightened. That's why he calls them sheep.

Now, the question is, going by history and current events. Is it more likely that God doesn't want people to reach enlightenment, or is it more likely that some MEN along the way who wrote and altered those texts didn't want the "sheep" to reach enlightenment?

You know....all we can do in this life is go by the clues that are available to us. Why ANYONE would ignore most of the clues is beyond my ability to fathom.

I serve none beside myself and mine. I held all if able. If I be damned, so be it.
Peace to all
